Purpose: The Policy Institute is a collaborative program among Philanthropy West Virginia and the West Virginia Nonprofit Association to educate, orient, and connect our foundation and nonprofit members on the best ways to work with West Virginia’s executive and legislative government branch leaders to improve the quality of life for citizens.
The program includes a focus on best practices for foundations and nonprofits to engage in public policy advocacy and building partnerships especially after the recent election cycle. The 2018 Policy Institute Agenda includes:
