Program Cancellation Policy

Philanthropy West Virginia reserves the right to cancel or reschedule our education programs. Programs may be canceled because of, but not limited to: speaker and or facilitator illness, inclement weather conditions, or less than 3 registered participants.

West Virginia Policy Institute

Join us  on January 11th from 10:00 – 11:30 AM on Zoom and learn how to turn your passion for your nonprofit work into advocating for your cause!  We are excited to have Caitlin Cook of the Mountaineer Food Bank; Rebecca McPhail of the WV Manufacturer’s Association; Crystal Good of Black by God and THE WEST VIRGINIAN; and Chris Hall of Orion Strategies join us for a facilitated discussion on the Do’s and Don’ts for Nonprofit Advocacy.

Participants will also learn how to navigate the legislative website to follow bills and issues that are important to the nonprofit sector – and your organization – this session.
