Appalachia Funders Network invites you to join them on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in Charleston, WV for:

Equity in Appalachia: Understanding Racial Inequality – A Groundwater Approach.

This funder-only, full-day workshop will be facilitated by PolicyLink and Racial Equity Institute (REI) . Through facilitated discussions, participants will develop a deeper understanding of the definition and application of an equity analysis and explore how an equity lens can impact funders understanding of Central Appalachia. Participants will engage REI’s ‘groundwater approach’ to learn about the pervasiveness of structural racism and examine narratives around racial disproportionality.
