Neighborhood Investment Program Policy Briefing

February 3, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) is a crucial charitable incentive that supports nearly 200 nonprofits each year and leverages over $6 Million annually in private charitable giving to advance the work of nonprofits serving our communities and state. The current program legislation expires on June 30, 2021. Philanthropy West Virginia, the West Virginia Nonprofit Association and other partners are asking the legislature to renew and expand the NIP, as it is more important than ever as our sector works to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are interested in this issue, please join Philanthropy West Virginia and the West Virginia Nonprofit Association for a joint webinar, February 3rd from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. to learn more about how you can help support NIP renewal.
