Funder Roundtable on Housing & Homelessness, Featuring Funders Together to End Homelessness

May 19, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Please join Philanthropy West Virginia and Funders Together to End Homelessness (FTEH) for a roundtable conversation about addressing homelessness in West Virginia,Wednesday, May 19 at 2pm ET.

As rents increase and wages stagnate, more and more funders are funding or becoming interested in funding in the homelessness and affordable housing spaces. The past year has also shown us how important safe, stable housing is. Without it, outcomes in intersecting systems like health and education decline.

Funders Together to End Homelessness is a national organization devoted to using the influence and expertise of philanthropy to advance lasting solutions to ending homelessness, including addressing its underlying causes like structural and racial inequities, and helping create policies and systems that center people with lived expertise.

The program will start with an introduction to some of the FTEH team, their goals and the work they have underway. Then we will invite our members to share the projects they have underway, challenges they are facing, and opportunities they see, to engage in an open conversation with the FTEH team and in-state peers.

This program is free for all Philanthropy West Virginia members. To register, please email kate@philanthropywv.org
