Program Cancellation Policy
Philanthropy West Virginia reserves the right to cancel or reschedule our education programs. Programs may be canceled because of, but not limited to: speaker and or facilitator illness, inclement weather conditions, or less than 3 registered participants.

Education Affinity Group Fall 2021 Funders Meeting

Philanthropy WV is excited to host the next Education Funders Affinity Group (EAG) meeting on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 9 to 10:30 AM. This meeting is for any grantmaking foundation, corporation, funder, and/or donor that invests, supports, and advances education success for all ages from early childhood to adulthood in West Virginia and central Appalachia.
The November 12th Program will include:
- Overview and update on the Benedum Sparking Literacy Program with Donna Peduto of the WV Public Education Collaborative
- Briefing on the BARR (Building Assets, Reducing Risks) Program of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation by Program Manager Acadia Bender
- Progress Report on the EAG’s Collaborative work on WV’s Climb and WV Grade Level Reading Program
- Exciting News on New Collaborations
- New Work and Opportunities of Attendees
- and preparations for our early 2022 EAG Strategy Session
These meetings are complimentary to Philanthropy WV members and at a registration price of $40.00 on limited basis for non-members.
