Program Cancellation Policy
Philanthropy West Virginia reserves the right to cancel or reschedule our education programs. Programs may be canceled because of, but not limited to: speaker and or facilitator illness, inclement weather conditions, or less than 3 registered participants.

Education Affinity Group (EAG) Summer 2023 Meeting

Join us Thursday, June 8 from 2 PM – 3:30 PM on Zoom for a meeting of the Education Affinity Group (EAG).
Guest speakers will include WV Department of Education staff Michele Blatt, Deputy State Superintendent of Schools, and Sonja White, Teaching and Learning Officer. They will discuss the recently passed education legislation and its effects on WVDE initiatives including Ready Read Write and Math For Life.
The EAG, led by Chairperson Stephanie Hyre, meets quarterly with different education expert presenters to identify areas for improving educational collaborative grantmaking and policy in West Virginia.
Attendance is free for Philanthropy WV members, and $25 for non-members.
