Disaster Philanthropy Basics: Session 2 of the 2024 Grantmakers Toolkit Series
June 18, 2024 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The Program
We continue to watch what feels like a never-ending stream of disasters unfold in our local communities and around
the globe – hurricanes, wildfires, a pandemic, floods, and human-made crises. For grantmakers, it’s crucial to know when
to respond and how. Since 2010, the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP) has been helping individuals, foundations
and corporations increase the effectiveness of their philanthropic response to disasters and humanitarian crises.
