2022 Education Affinity Group (EAG) Year End Meeting

Join us December 6, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM on Zoom for last gathering of the Education Affinity Group (EAG) for 2022, featuring guest speaker Dr. Carla Warren of the WV Department of Education.
Dr. Warren will discuss the Grow Your Own WV Pathway to Teaching Initiative, with special emphasis on the apprenticeship model. Please see this recent segment from journalist Soledad O’Brien’s show “Matter of Fact” featuring more information about the initiative.
In addition to Dr. Warren’s presentation, we will take time to update one another on our portfolios in education this year and discuss setting collective priorities for our work together in 2023.
Attendance is free for Philanthropy WV members, and $25 for non-members. Non-members will receive an invoice for the ticket cost after registering, which can be paid by check or credit card.
Philanthropy West Virginia’s Education Funders Affinity Group (EAG) is a collaborating and peer networking forum for national, state, and local funders, corporations, United Ways, and donors interested or investing in education at all levels in West Virginia, central Appalachia, and rural America.

Philanthropy West Virginia reserves the right to cancel or reschedule our education programs. Programs may be canceled because of, but not limited to: speaker and or facilitator illness, inclement weather conditions, or less than 3 registered participants.
