2022 Appalachian Community Philanthropic Retreat - Aug 17-18

Philanthropy WV is pleased to announce the 2022 Appalachian Community Philanthropy Retreat will take place on Wednesday, August 17 and Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, WV. Our theme this year is Building Community and Finding Strength. Over this two day gathering, we will deepen and grow our relationships with peer organizations, learning and sharing for the benefit of all. We know that when we collaborate on common goals and when we troubleshoot our struggles collectively, we can go further together than we ever could alone.

This program of excellence is for Appalachian and rural community foundations, United Ways, and other public funders. The two day in-depth training, collaborating, and networking conference will host national, Appalachian region, West Virginia, and local experts, leaders, and partners to advance your organization’s asset development, community grantmaking, policy advocacy, and community leadership.

Registration fees, meals and hotel room included

  • $525 for Philanthropy WV members
  • $600 for Peer Organizations (PSO & United Philanthropy Forum Member)
  • $700 for Non-Members

The deadline for registration is July 25
