Philanthropy West Virginia reserves the right to cancel or reschedule our education programs. Programs may be canceled because of, but not limited to: speaker and or facilitator illness, inclement weather conditions, or less than 3 registered participants.

Formerly known as the Appalachian Community Foundation’s Leadership Retreat, the Appalachian Community Philanthropy Leadership Retreat is an opportunity to connect with Community Foundations, United Ways, and Hospital and University Foundations from across the Appalachian region to discuss key issues in the field, network, and learn from your peers from across the region and beyond!
The rescheduled session will be hosted over a 2-day period, August 25th and 27th from 9 AM – 3 PM. We are excited to welcome Susanne Friday, Executive Director, National Standards and Vice President, Legal with the Council on Foundations and Rosemary Dorsa, Vice President with the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance as our keynotes.
