Program Cancellation Policy
Philanthropy West Virginia reserves the right to cancel or reschedule our education programs. Programs may be canceled because of, but not limited to: speaker and or facilitator illness, inclement weather conditions, or less than 3 registered participants.

Education Funders Affinity Group Meeting
Does your foundation or corporate giving program support education programs, scholarships, or other educational related organizations in the state? Then plan to join your fellow education funders for our 1st quarterly meeting on February 8, 2018 at Philanthropy WV’s Morgantown Office from 2 to 4 PM. Join us as we welcome representatives from BridgeValley Community and Technical College, the KVC Health Systems, and the Mentoring and Oversight for Developing Independence for Foster Youth (MODIFY) as they share their work with foster youths in West Virginia.
Dr. Bellinger (Click HERE for her bio) with BridgeValley Community and Technical College and Mr. Bailey (Click HERE for his bio) with KVC Health Systems will share their collaboration to implement a college for foster youth on WVU Tech’s campus in Montgomery, WV. Ms. Faber (Click HERE for her bio) with MODIFY will discuss their program to help support self-sufficiency and post-secondary guidance for foster youth who are preparing to “age out” of the foster program.
