Philanthropy West Virginia formed in 2018 a working group focused on developing strategies and action to attract and retain workforce and talent in communities. The program concept being modeled from other states are called "Come Home" Loan Forgiveness grants. The working group will be meeting to discuss recent legislation introduced in the U.S. Senate to make it possible for foundations to be part of this work and model it in West Virginia.
