Northern Panhandle Funders Roundtable – Community Economic Development

Philanthropy West Virginia invites our members in the Northern Panhandle to join us for a presentation from Brad Blair, Executive Vice President of Appalachian Growth Capital discussing Community Development Financial Institutions.   Foundations and corporations can be partners in community economic development investment working with through a Community Development Financial Institution.  This can create special loan funds through qualified grants and/or strategic philanthropic investments.

Brad will discuss the work of Appalachian Growth Capital, opportunities to partner with foundations, and the impact in local economic development that can be accomplished together.  This session is open to board members, CEOs, and staff of area foundations and corporate giving programs.

Our meeting will be at the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley’s Offices at 1310 Market Street, Suite 1 in downtown Wheeling, WV. Parking is available on Market Street.
