Philanthropy West Virginia reserves the right to cancel or reschedule our education programs. Programs may be canceled because of, but not limited to: speaker and or facilitator illness, inclement weather conditions, or less than 3 registered participants.

Education Affinity Group: Early Childhood

Join us for the first meeting of the Education Affinity Group of Philanthropy WV with a focus on early childhood education and development. We will be joined by Dr. Allison, Dagen, Associate Professor with the WVU College of Education will present her work on recruiting and preparing PreK teachers to gain National Board Certification, considered the gold standard of teacher quality, and Kim Tieman, Health & Human Services Program Officer with the Benedum Foundation, will provide a funder’s view of key elements and progress of the West Virginia Early Childhood Plan.
