Philanthropy West Virginia reserves the right to cancel or reschedule our education programs. Programs may be canceled because of, but not limited to: speaker and or facilitator illness, inclement weather conditions, or less than 3 registered participants.

2020 PolicyWorks – United Philanthropy Forum

March 8 & 9, 2020: Philanthropy West Virginia involves our members interested in advancing public policy and partnership work with government, philanthropic, nonprofit, and business leaders with a national training each March. Our delegation attends the United Philanthropy Forum’s PolicyWorks Institute. United Philanthropy Forum’s PolicyWorks Institute is the primary opportunity for regional and national philanthropy-serving organizations (PSOs) to take a “deep dive” together over several days to strengthen their policy and advocacy work.
PolicyWorks Institute is for members of United Philanthropy Forum who work on advocacy and policy issues for their PSO or are interested in building skills and capacity in this arena and for foundations that belong to PSOs that are focused on advocacy and public policy as funders or serve on the board of a PSO policy committee. If you would like to attend the 2020 PolicyWorks Institute, please contact Kate Leary, Operations Assistant at operationsassistant@philanthropywv.org.
A select block of rooms are also reserved at a nearby hotel for Philanthropy WV’s delegation. More details will be released in early January 2020.
